What is Exponential?

Exponential is a growth program for product-led companies, innovators, and trailblazers building a better future.
Each founder works hand in hand with our GROWTH SWAT TEAM for 4+ weeks to focus on what really matters, unlocking growth opportunities and driving measurable impact to your bottom line.
And we’ve done this before. Our team is comprised of leaders with decades of experience with 7+ unicorns from Seed to Pre-IPO, across Europe and US.

How does it work?

In a world fast-moving, highly competitive, where cultural narrative changes constantly, scalable distribution is harder than ever and a good product is no longer enough to build a MOAT — we cut through the noise.

Stage

Objective

Methodology

Audit (W1-2)

We leverage modern, proven growth frameworks to analyze your business through every lens and identify the key actions you need to take to drive growth and revenue.
  • Kickoff meeting: Goals, timeline, success, ressources
  • 1-1 meetings with teams: Marketing, Growth, Product, CS, etc.
  • Qualitative research: NPS, brand survey, customer service, etc.
  • Quantitative research: Growth, Product, Brand - KPI dashboards & strat doc, etc.

Strategy (W2-3)

We work as a SWAT team to align and optimize your growth, brand, and product engines to drive sustainable growth. Whether it’s redefining your brand platform, refining your community’s USP, rescoping your product strategy, or iterating on new acquisition channels.
  • Initial finding review meeting
  • Final strategy recommendation meeting
  • Final strategy insights, strategy and roadmap delivery

Delivery (W3-4)

Then we work hand in hand with you on the execution - collaborating with your internal team, and bringing on our collective of best-in-class community, content, product, and growth leaders where needed

  • Project management kick off meeting: Meeting with team leads to integrate and action plan to current roadmaps and outline project goals
  • New Resources onboarding: Identify, brief, onboard and mentor of new resources and talent to execute on recommendation

Program Overview

GROWTH AUDIT & STRATEGY (4-weeks)
We take the higher-level view: through the Sustained Growth Framework, we assess the efficiency of your growth pillars and build an actionable roadmap to drive immediate growth across brand, marketing, and product.
Growth hacking and efficient paid marketing is no longer enough to drive sustained growth.

🎯
Our gold standard program recommended for all founders and innovators

BRAND AUDIT & STRATEGY (4-weeks)
Brand strategy and platforms shouldn’t be built in a vacuum.
We’re convinced that in today’s world they are as fundamental to your growth as your product roadmap. We come up with efficient brand platforms that are actually actionable for your teams and unlock growth - by extending to your product roadmap, product marketing, and growth engines.
🔍
Recommended if you’re considering brand development via an agency, or need to double down after growth audit.
GROWTH COACHING & ADVISORY (min 4/h month)
We also work hand in hand with founders over the long term as trusted growth advisors and “coaches”. Leveraging our strategic and operational experience in 10+ scale-ups (incl. 5 unicorns), we advise on broader growth strategy (including team building, fundraising, new product or market launches) as well as how to infuse a strategic growth mindset across the organization.
👟
Recommended if you want to put Brand and Growth audits into action with coaching and advisory from us.

“Aman was a fantastic thought partner, hard-working, and ridiculously good at motivating the team. In only a quarter, we were able to prioritize and see through a number of quick-hitting, highly impactful projects that are still in the product experience/s today. A lot of that success is attributable to Aman's leadership, product vision, discipline in focusing the team on the right goals and the right time, and ability to coax the best out of the team.”
- K.Chu, former Engineering Manager at Square and DoorDash

“Aman is probably the hardest working person I have ever worked with. He really understands how to source and build solid partnerships and is great with people. His work ethic, critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task make him an invaluable asset to any team.”

Photoroom - Powering the internet’s commerce photos

Photoroom was growing organically, but the team didn’t have a clear understanding of their PMF and, how to double-down on growth. We worked with the founders of Photoroom to nail a category-defining value proposition, and define their target personas. Then, we laid out new growth initiatives across growth, product marketing and product that were in line with this new positioning - and helped execute them (working with the internal team, bringing on trusted external talent, or helping to hire new talent). The result? 64% lift in activation, 20% MoM in new users months following our engagement, and 2021 fastest growing app of the year award by Amplitude.

Bumble ($BMBL) - Online dating application

Bumble was experiencing a concerning drop in MAUs and Retention in their mature markets, and was unable to diagnose the issue given their core growth KPIs did not signal it. We performed an audit over 3 weeks across marketing (acquisition) and product (onboarding funnel, user engagement) and successfully diagnosed the problems at play. The result? The marketing team was able to focus their efforts on short term and long term fixes, Retention and MAU KPIs recovered immediately.

Notes

Example Case Studies for Aman (rough notes)

  • Square: Food Delivery Consumer App, created new dynamic order again and recommendations to drive repeat orders. This resulted in product and growth teams to create dynamic ads for merchants and special offers on the home screen of app to drive conversation. Our caoursel proved that 45% of traffic interacted with our current carousels, so we were able to dynamically target groups of users.
  • Square: Food Delivery App, Caviar, developed integration into Square Receipts for merchants that are also on delivering food to advertise their space, driving 5% net-new traffic to their Caviar store from a receipt.
  • Box: built partnerships with all mobile-device-management software for Box, which drive Box’s first $1M deal via deal-share.
  • Alan: built a metadata injection into Intercom, to automatically understand the source of where a customer ticket was coming from. This allowed the team to pinpoint areas of improvement and build new product initiatives (automatic document management)
